But since then, with tons of trial and error, I’ve worked to master my process...

How to Use Scenes & Slides in Articulate Storyline

#InstructionalDesign #eLearning #ArticulateStoryline One of the great things about first learning how to use Articulate Storyline is how similar it is to Microsoft PowerPoint. As I’ve shared before, once you get a solid understanding of the Storyline interface, you quickly learn that if you already know how to do something in PowerPoint, then you likely already know how to do it in Storyline. Hi , i just watched your video and i have learnt alot from it. my question is, can i design an official Logo if yes, i should i put in mind to make it great? Thanks so much, JM
You are so tenanted!
Yes 💯 this is great advice.
Omg that was actually helpful!!
Hey there, Tim. Thank holy heaven I've found you. I'm an English language teacher who's worked mostly with Moodle and Captivate, and now I'm about to start getting a few side gigs as an ID. I definitely want to take the next step to complete a career move, and I couldn't find your videos more helpful. They're incredible self explanatory, and you leave little to nothing unclear. Besides, your sense of humor is just right on point. Hopefully, I'll end up enrolling in one of your courses soon.
I'm glad they're helpful! Thanks for watching!
I made a copy of a storyline file, removed some stuff to separate my course into lessons, then published to Reach360. The problem is that it's loading it as a newer version of the old storyline file. I've tried to change the identifier in the settings, but this did not help. Any idea what I could do to separate the files? I've changed as many things as I can see, but still Reach360 connects them somehow.
Thank you Tim. You're always on top of things. The All New Cptivate for me is quite impressive. I'm also a long time user of Articulate but the All New Captivate provides me the opportunity to become a designer again. It allows for greater flexibility.
This is exactly what I needed! You are a star. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
Very expensive software I will lear captivate
That's so comprehensive and eye-opening! I'm literally revisiting some of my initial experiences and finding out how I could have used storyboards strategically back then. I love your advice on dealing with scope creep. It's spot on. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Omg u are so confusing.. so complicated! You talk too much.. not precise.. and so much info .. darn it..
But you kept watching. 🤷♂️ Thanks for the view!
I have just used this technique but I also want the audio to change on the main page too! I cant seem to find out how to do it. Do you have a tutorial on that? :D
This is great Tim. It really helped me understand my team structure now and what I would want in my future role.
Tim, your long-form How-To Workshops are invaluable! Thank you.
Tim, thanks for the contributions you freely make to our profession. I've learned so much from you as I continue to expand my eLearning development skills.
Tim, thanks a lot for this video! It really helps to save time and get a decent visual design
Namaste from India Pdf notes could be of Great help Thank you 🙏🙏
Tim, this was super! I've done a lot of storyboarding and picked up a number of new ideas.
This video was EXCELLENT. I plan to watch many of your other videos. Great job!
Thank you so much. I love your videos they are so helpful!
U talk too much lol .. may be keep it to the point..
No one forced you to keep watching. 😉
Thank you Tim, it was really easy to follow. You certainly are a great teacher 🙏
You always have the right video! Thanks for this!
Thank you this was very educative. I've learnt something as a beginner.
Holy smokes is this a helpful video! You have a gift for taking something complex and making it clear AND approachable. Thank you!!!❤🎉❤🎉
Proof of how brilliant an instructional design profile should be, same challenge but 3 excellent alternatives to respond to the client's need, Excellent as always Tim
My additional tip is not to accept team performance data as homogenously true of all team members. Yes, a team of 10 might not be selling enough widgets as a group, but if we look at individual results, we may find 8 are selling more than expected, and 2 are hardly selling any at all. Sending all 10 on a course will just annoy the 8 and waste time and money. Isolating the problem to individuals is not always comfortable, but if you can’t learn to have awkward conversations you shouldn't be working in L&D.
These are so great! The use of animating and 3d renders are phenomenal. Going to use this to convince my work to get me access to unreal engine 🤣
Tim, This was great! I took several days viewing this as I rebuilt my portfolio website. You de-mystiyed a lot of parts and built my confidence. Thanks for providing such great guidance!
Thank you for this. What are you using for your screen share and ca,era? I like the side-by-side with rounded corners and drop shadow.
Thank you very much! A great design for a tab interaction which was easy for a beginner to understand.

OMG! I am learning the Articulate Storyline to create my portfolio and you have made this so easy to follow along. Very engaging as well. Thank you so much!
Hey Tim, i currently use Storyline but my partners use Lectora. I am trying to decide if Lectora is a better tool. Do you have any knowledge of Lectora?
Is your course meant for those looking to transition to a career in ID, those who currently work in the field, or both? Thanks!
It's free...and it's meant for anyone new to this industry.
@@elearningacdmy Thank you!
Simple and very structured approach
I have watched a lot of your How-To workshops and have applied them successfully in my own personal projects to help me learn Storyline and just design principles in general. I’m so thankful to have clicked on this video this morning because I definitely need it. I’ve been working from the time I wake up to way past my bed time (e.g., 6:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.) just so I can complete projects to show jobs that I’m somewhat capable and dedicated. It’s been hard because when I searched through different media (like the instructional design subreddit on Reddit), I feel discouraged because I feel like I don’t have enough skills. “I have to learn this technology and that one,” is what I start thinking, and ofc I end up overwhelmed. I’ve signed up for the course before the video even finished, and I can’t wait to go through it today.
Thanks for sharing and being vulnerable! It's a lot...I know! Take some time to watch the videos...take a few deep breaths...and allow yourself the space to reset mentally. 😮💨
Who doesn’t love acronyms?! 😂 Thank you for cutting through the noise, Tim! 🎉
Ha!
Thank you, Tim! You're a life saver!
Hey Tim, I just wanted to say thanks for all your Storyline tutorials here. I recently started learning Storyline from scratch, and out of all the tutorials out there, I find your content the easiest to follow. Plus, the way you present and talk about stuff is super engaging, relatable, and fun to watch. So, thanks again!
